Ray and Val Stephenson Lot 45 are not the type to sit back in retirement and do nothing. Besides working on the Alexander Garden Committee they have donated their time and taken on the task of tiling the new wall near the outdoor pool. Ray is a professional tiler with over 50 years experience.

Len O'Regan from Hamilton, New Zealand, a Body Corporate Committee member for 22 years attended the March 12 committee meeting at Body Corporate Services. Afterwards at the Northcliffe Surf Club there was a brief presentation in recognition of his many years of service to the owners.

David Isbister, Lot 9, joined Steve North, Lot 7, at the Northcliffe Surf Club to welcome his niece, Alex and her husband, Dave from Denver, Colorado. They of course stayed at the Alexander while visiting the Gold Coast.

Sam and Maria Paola while visiting Alexander Apartments from Melbourne met Michael Clark at his Tamborine Mountain Distillery and sampled some of his fine products.   The distillery is a "must see" as well as the Witches Chase Cheese Company when visiting Tamborine Mountain.

 

Andrew Hogarth Unit 53, car enthusiast, built his own Cobra

Catherine and Ramzy Abdou Unit 48 were at Alexander for a month while their unit was being renovated. Their unit was 4 star and is now 5 star. Congratulations

Family and friends joined Gus and Fiona Paola, Unit 49 and Al and Sonia Borello Unit 5, celebrate New Year's Eve around the BBQ..

owner of this car?
 
Dorothy and Bob Lawrie, Lot 30, migrate from Tasmania every winter to Alexander at the same time as "Migaloo" migrates to north Queensland. They say this year they have an open return ticket home. You can check out "Migaloo" on www.migaloowhale.org

GARDEN COMMITTEE NEWS
The front entrance gardens have be replanted and restored thanks again to Ray and Val Stephenson
The new pool lounges arrived in time for the holiday period. Norman and Ngaire Douglas, Unit 41, were staying in their unit for two months while Ngaire had a teaching engagement at Bond University. They have now returned to Alstonville N.S.W. but were recently sighted in New Zealand.

Owners Ann and Joan Cleghorn, Lot 6, visited Alexander Apartments in July and took time out from renovating their unit to visit the Northcliffe Surf Club. Joan has owned her unit since 1988.
